I wanted to explain this in detail to show that I continued to let things go until I just had ENOUGH!

I got together with my girlfriend, my sister, sisters boyfriend, and another friend and we all went out to eat at the BUCA at the GROVE in Los Angeles .

We arrived and were told there was a 30 min wait time. We saw a place across from Buca that looked like fun but we decided to stay with Buca because my sister and her boyfriend have been before and said it was worth it.

So we went to the bar to have a couple of drinks to wait for our table when I asked the bar tender for 3 different beers from the menu and they did not have any of them.(MODELO, CORONA, STELLA) So the bartender decided to recommend me a drink (BROWN ALE) and I went with it. Then my sisters boyfriend ordered a drink and they didn't have what he asked for (Forgot the names of his mixed drinks) either so they recommended one again. Bartender comes over and says " sorry sir we ran out of limes." At this point we were just laughing because it was unbelievable that a bar at a well known restaurant would not have so many things. However, the bartender gave us a discounted price to make up for the shortage.

Then we get called to our table and we order some food and only the salad and bread comes out then its another 30 minutes before the rest of our food comes out. We arrived at 8pm and sit at 8:20pm order our food at 8:30 and received all of our food at 9:15pm Now mind you when we arrived I immediately saw a many open tables and about 15 minutes into being seated I saw even more tables open up. So I felt that there wasn't any reason for the food to take so long besides something was going wrong. I start complaining to the group that it is taking way too long for it not being so busy in there and they all agreed that it was a loonngg wait.

Then FINALLY our food comes out and we start to eat. I get about 5 bites into the the fettuccini and I felt a shock in my mouth. I have a cavity and I bit into a metal wire about 2 inches long!! I didn't know what it was and I bit again only to have the damn thing poke me in the back of my mouth.

At this point I jump back and pull the wire out of my mouth and I hold it and stare at it in shock. I called the waitress over and showed her which she then called the manager and he did not seem to know how to handle the situation and just offered me the insurance company. I was so upset at this point that I just let him know I refuse to pay for the meal and I just wanted to leave. I wish I took a photo of the wire but I guarantee you if someone calls the location they will say it happened.

I really tried to keep letting things slide but it was disappointment after disappointment. The worse experience I have had at a semi classy restaurant and It was my first time there so it was just the worst.

Reason of review: SERVICE AND FOOD.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
